NAPARIMA COLLEGE
FOREVER

Map of Spanish Trinidad, 1780

The map is interesting because of the absence of settlements, the place names, and the fact that it was obviously painstakingly mapped by recording movements of watercraft up every river and stream, and around every turn of the coastline. There is no San Fernando, and today's Cipero River is shown as Crepero. The only connection with the story of Naparima is the village marked Sabana Grande. (SE)
